I am in the process of migrating to another server. Instead of doing it all at once I am migrating and testing each site. This way I will know that every site works. If you see something that doesn't work please contact me ASAP. Oh yeah, and Happy New Year from Datanethost :).

Today I woke up and one of the servers was acting up. I noticed that it crashed and when I tried to restart the server, it wouldn't come back. So, before I ran out the door I decided to run a Memtest 86 on it, and low and behold some of the RAM is bad . When I get home I will fiddle with the RAM to see if I can eliminate a bad RAM chip. This server is for pastethis.net and dnsknife.net. And I have backups of everything so I can rebuild if needbe.

The phone line was fixed a few days ago so email is working again. I have also increased the user signup limit counter back to 0, so now 50 more people can signup for free hosting. Enjoy!

My phone line is screwed up, so the DSL isn't going to be working right until tommrrow. I moved the web server to my other ISP, however the mail server will be down until the DSL is fixed. Nothing else is affected.

I had yet another power outage (I really to make a formal complaint about that...) and brought al lthe servers back online. Online 1 server gave me "attitude", and I am about to replace that HD anyways, but its running fine now so I will leave it be for now Other than that, no data was lost.

I replaced a HD in the main server last night due to it failing to access a file which indicated it was failing (at least according to the logs, and when I ran it through the WD diag tool it came up with "too many bad sectors"). Everything is back in working order!
